always find it unusal when Canadians....

Comment on American politics or Americans in general when they have some of the same characters.

She a US citizen now. She became on late last year.

Jon Oliver did a bit on his show about the Canadian election, recently.

And Bee has made her living in the States for a number of years now. I think she is probably qualified to have an opinion.

"Luke Skywalker has vanished."

Imean its comedy but my yeara of living overseas, I always made an effort to stay away from another country's politics even when the local natianls ask me what I thought about this or that.
I believe that's why Amerixca has such a soiled reptation in the eyes of the worold because we can't keep our nose out of other people's business.

I wonder if she even has any Canadian pride or sense of patriotism, James Cameron said he couldn't even remeber the Canadian national anthem anymore.

"And Bee has made her living in the States for a number of years now. I think she is probably qualified to have an opinion."

Yeah, someone who has made a great living in the U.S. has become critcal of that very institution?????

It funny how Canadians like Margot Kidder and Steve Nash were critcal of the U.S. invlovement in the Iraq war but appeared silent when Canada participated as well.

I'm sorry but it's hard to take your comments seriously with so many typos. I keep thinking your spelling errors are intentional.

NP..every now and then I like to type on my phone which is good because I know someone like you will make more of an effort to understand what I'm saying.

reply

I'm not sure how you decided on Margot Kidder and Steve Nash as your examples of Canadian celebrities, but it doesn't matter. Canada did NOT get sucked into Bush's war in Iraq.

reply

Kidder and Nash were protesting U.S. war in Iraq while they are legally here.

Yes,Canada did get sucked I'm the Iraq war just like they got sucked into Vietnam.
A lot of American draft dodgers sought asylum in Canada while at the same time Canadian soldiers were deploying to Vietnam to fight.

You think someone in Canada would have said "why are we sheltering Americans from going to Vietnam but sending our own people to fight???"

reply

You might want to read a little. Canada did NOT send troops or any other military forces to Iraq. NOR did they participate in the Vietnam war. As for "why are we sheltering Americans from going to Vietnam but sending our own people to fight???" whoever you're quoting is as ignorant of world events as you are. Probably Ann Coulter or Donald Trump.

i SUGGEST YOU READ A JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE AND THEN GO *beep* YOURSELF NOT ONCE....

You realize that's all in reference to the current fight against ISIS and nothing to do with Dubya's war in Iraq and the non-existent weapons of mass destruction. Canada wasn't there. They didn't get sucked into Vietnam either. Better stick to your old job as a fact-finder for Trump.

reply

Again reading is fundamental. Canada has always been an ally when it came to u.s. conflicts that did not directly involved them. Always be suspicious of any country that only provides "support" to another country's war.

reply

You make no sense at all. First you insisted Canada participated in the Vietnam war and the Iraq war, which they most definitely did not. Now you seem to be hedging your statement by saying just because Canada is a friend of America we were somehow actively involved in those wars. Maybe you're confusing 2001 Afghanistan (where the Canadian military fought) with 2003 Iraq (where they did not). In no way could Canada be considered an ally in either war. I"m pretty sure this thread is exhausted. I know I am. Have a nice day

reply

I remember Nash and Kidder were vocal about the U.S./Iraq war but seemingly remain silent when their home country was involved.
