7/10 Natural successor to The Daily Show with some room for improvement

Took the time to watch the episodes and it felt refreshing - finally a successor to the daily show and John Stewart.
For me Trevor Noah is close to a right wing "extremist" - the vast majority of points ends with regressive stances cunningly woven together these days (this is in line with how it was during the last two (abouts) years under John Stewart or rather quite a few steps worse).
So to the show, it is bascially The Daily Show but once a week and with a female host (which rarely drops a beat). I do not know why Samantha Bee did not take over (was offered) the Daily Show, if it was simply because those who control the ownership put down some requirements or for whatever other reason (*1).
Pro's
• Samantha Bee - Fills John Stewarts shoes well.
• It actually has a liberal tone, it slants both ways from there.
• It's often on point, even if it isn't as good as The Daily Show was during its prime it bodes very well for the future as this show is still in its infancy.
Con's
• It's slightly leaning female, which isn't a big problem but I would rather see a completely neutral and universal show (equal) which would be more likely to then gain more attention and then maybe slant it back a little towards female.
• The purple color and all the symbolism it carries for (read; lack thereof) credibility (informal plutocracy has historically used two set of colours turquoise and purple, one example is the Olympic games in London - if you want another just look to sports in general).
*1 Comedy Central [us] seems to be allmost singlehandedly responsible for the production of episodes since the start of 2015.
Among the distributors is CNN, the not so credible news source anymore (stated as opinion, read up for yourself to verify or not).
AOL/Time-Warner owned Comedy Central until 2003 when Viacom Inc bought their stake. Viacom is in its turn controlled by "National Amusements".
