Not Good At All
This show is a mess. I like Samantha Bee, but the producers of this show have failed. It's a terrible Daily Show knockoff with an obvious bias.

Like transgenders insisting people refer to them as 'she' when they were born a he. That's basically like the gender version of 'black-face'. So it has simultaneously found a way to be offensive to women/feminists, black people that don't care for any version of black-face, and gays that don't like being associated with these people. I fully support anyones right to tuck their junk however they want, but don't expect me to call you 'she' if you were born a man
Or how is BLM anything other than extremely racist, and slanderous, and pathetic stooges of communist agitators? The 'RevCom' logo is at the bottom of most of their printed materials. The guy that started the group is whiter than that white NAACP lady, and the people organizing the rallies are a bunch of old white communists. They're just a hate group hiding behind activism, a way to call white people racists without being legally liable for slander, or so they think.
Or how about the gun grabbers acting like 'you have to be mentally stable to own a gun'... Do they not realize what an insane group of lunatics the founding fathers were? George Washington: "You know, I'm sick of the British, lets melt down the town's church bells into cannons we'll make using old trees to make the barrels, then we'll shoot old cutlery and kitchen utensils at them until they leave us alone" = Basically what he said and totally insane. But it worked. Or Ben Franklin: "Theres invisible magic power in the sky and I will learn how to use it by flying a kite in the rain with a key at the end so I'm struck by lightning" = totally bonkers. But he was right.
Basically the list is never ending, the progressive agenda is the most absurd, racist, hypocritical, divisive, stupid garbage I've ever heard. Comedy should have an absolute field day ripping them to shreds... but they don't. This just reinforces my belief that modern comedy is just a tool of propagandists pushing an agenda.
The only exception I can think of to this pro-left bias in comedy is Southpark. That's pretty much it though.
I fully understand it because the right is just so much easier to make fun of. We disagree on basically everything you just said LOL - not being an *beep* to transgender people helps.

I see very little difference between a trans guy dressing up like Jessica rabbit and then acting like a sexist caricature of women, and a white guy putting on black face and then acting like a racist caricature. They traded their watermelon and chicken props for lipstick and fake breasts.

Much of what your pissed off about comes down to ignorance and uneducation on the left, Transgenderism a result of mental illness and for gay people to be lumped in with them I've always thought is incredibly offensive to them. And referring to them in context as she or he when they are not is stupid, to someone personally, if you know them and they ask that... fine, whatever makes them happy if your not looking to offend.. Compromise
BLM just does more to create inequality than about 100 other ways a blacks right movement in modern society could be created and done to achieve more equal rights.
But I'm really replying because your comparison with mentally unstable average citizens and the founding fathers is absolutely dumb..
If you think America doesn't need anymore gun control, you're simply stupid and ignorant on that issue - and lack common sense.
I suffer mental illness and if i wanted to buy a gun it would be to kill myself, so the more preventative measures for people to harm themselves or others who have mental illness is just basic logic... tho in some ways it should really only be for stopping the people who plan to hurt others, everyone has the right to end there own life... But you'd be surprised with how easy a gun makes it, how many suicides would be stopped through more control. And this is ignoring how guns need to be taken out of the hands of gang members and criminals which would involve different regulation.
Don't believe in a gun free america, but it needs about half the amount it has and those half are in the wrong hands already.
I haven't replied yet because, since we're in agreement on most things, the only part left is where we disagree... and that has a lot to do with suicide and that's a tough subject to discuss, it's close to home for both of us.
But please, lets try to stay 'professionally distant' from that issue long enough to discuss it.
I would wager that very few suicides would be prevented by prohibiting guns, for a few reasons. In fact, fatalities (suicides and related homicides) might actually go up because:
1) Even if less people, as a ratio of the suicidal populace, actually do kill themselves, there will be a much higher number of suicidal people, because society will turn into a smouldering pile of **** as only the criminals will have guns and everyone else will get victimized. So sure, maybe the 10% lowers to an 8%, but it still goes way up because the 10% increased to, say... a 40% and then got adjusted down to 32% because guns are harder to get. Truly suicidal people will find a way.
2) Suicide by gun would be replaced by suicide by cop, as we've already seen. And in order to get a cop to kill you, it's not enough, usually, to just threaten them. Suicide by cop requires hurting a completely uninvolved innocent person, usually a lot of them, until you force a cop to shoot you. Cops have guns and they always will despite any gun prohibition and it doesn't take a genius to figure these things out.
as for screening who gets a gun and who is 'too crazy'... that actually pushes people out of mental health treatment because they know if they 'let the doctor know' how they're really feeling, cops will come knocking to take away their rights. So they'll avoid treatment, result, more suicides and worse.
Also, just because someone passes 'the test' one day doesn't mean they would the next, and no ones suggesting 'daily sanity tests' to own a gun, but really, thats basically what would be necessary, or even more often. Hourly. It's just not realistic. Even if that test existed, and it doesn't. The closest thing we have to 'is this person too crazy to own a gun' is very easily gamed. Basically don't droll on yourself and you're fine.
But most importantly. It's our right. Society does not get to take away your rights just because some quack with a degree thinks you are a thought criminal. And even if you are 'crazy', you still have a right to defend yourself. Everyone's a little crazy, that doesn't mean you get thrown to the wolves.
