shareIf by 'hoot' you meant mean spirited twat than yeah, so far in her promo's she's ripped on comic book fans, veterans and Republicans, she seems pretty damn stupid to me for pre-knocking out a good chunk of viewers but I'm sure she'll have plenty of fanboys and gals on here ready to tell me how I'm wrong

shareMind you, I am not a native speaker of your language, but according to the dictionary "hoot" means (as a noun, that is):
– "a deep or medium-pitched musical sound, often wavering or interrupted, that is the typical call of many kinds of owl";
– "a raucous sound made by a horn, siren, or steam whistle";
– "a shout expressing scorn or disapproval";
– "a short outburst of laughter";
– "an amusing situation or person".
Considering the context my bet is on the last definition. Could also be the second to last. Heck, even the third definition fits the bill! Yours, however, is nowhere to be seen.
