I like Samantha Bee and she is absolutely a hilarious comedian, but several of her writers and producers are indeed actual journalists or come from a strong journalism background, which she has stated in interviews. So, although comedic in tone there is definitely a journalistic influence.

There are articles online that show The Daily Show as being the most accurate news source for young liberals - so I assume the same will hold true for this show. As opposed to other late night shows, these ones (John Oliver and Bill Maher as well) are delivering news with a slant in order to make well researched arguments/points about a topic. It just happens to be comedic and usually not very impartial. But then one could argue that most other "real" news outlets/journalists aren't very impartial either.

She's a propagandist hiding behind the excuse of 'comedy'. Also, she's a huge hypocrite, as outlined in other threads, but additionally because she's from Canada, which has laws on the books preventing foreigners from meddling with their national elections, but her entire pre-occupation today is meddling with US elections. Also, she's annoying and her whiny diatribes are labored and not very funny, at best.

Such an awful show, put it out of its misery or at least put it on comedy central where it belongs with the rest of the angry, liberal, satire, shows.
