Pretty pointless movie

Some movies grab your interesting because they are different and you watch wondering what to expect. This movie runs on that until about 2/3 of the way through, then it is apparent there is nothing here. It is the equivalent of the male action movie with girls.

One silly trope they used was the - if you are a kid you must naturally be a computer genius. The problem is the girl, the daughter, the heiress was portrayed as being vapid, lazy and stupid, without purpose in her life or anyone who would give her the time of day. So, how was she able to glean all this computer expertise?

thanks

It was hardly expertise. she was just using the security software.
She wasnt writing it , or even hacking it.

That is a very dishonest statement.
There was all kinds of security software built into the house.
She did not seem to know about the exploding walls and stuff, yet she got right in there and hacked the password, and operated it without knowing anything about it. You think a vapid airhead of a rich girl is going to have any interest in that, the way they formulated the character? Not a chance.

They were exploding walls? i thought someone was shooting through them!

What kind of bullets do you think they were using ... think about it.

It looked like she'd spent a lot of time at that place with little else to do except play with that system.
Also she spoke the language , so totally vapid

If you liked the movie, then fine, but just because you liked it doesn't mean you can change what happened in it or what that would normally mean for a normal person watching it.

Personally I am getting a little tired of the abruptness with which they murder people violently in movies these days. I was just watching Hannah, another all girl violence fest, and Marielle whatever her face is just shoots her surveillance tail in the fact. Too much BS and violence and not enough actual story and plot.

I agree, I watch very very few "action" films for exactly those reasons. I havent seen any Mission Impossible , and only one Bourne!
Very moderately paced action sequences in thios i thought.

I have been sort of in the mood this week though so also watched
"68 kills" & "Daughter of the wolf" , both coincidently female lead films.
