shareIn English, please?
And yes - children with autism can be severely disabled. I am related to some.
But ASD is a large spectrum. No two are the same.
Some are capable of lots more than others (high functioning) whilst some others need help dressing, toileting and personal care for the rest of their lives.
Autism is a Disability .
sharehis parents are BOUND to be overprotective as they want him not to struggle in the world. What parents wouldn't want their child to be ok?
shareIf this was a real situation, I would say they missed 3 years or more of help and therapy for him!
Letting him disappear into his own world because it is easier for the parents is criminal! The dad wants him to listen to music all day all the time so that the dad can do whatever he wants.
This should have been diagnosed by age 9 months or certainly age two. at that point you start treatment, desensitization etc to get the child ready for the real world.
and yes, since it is such a broad spectrum, you can't tell which child will prosper and be able to endure public school. and I say endure, because they simply can't react to stimuli properly.
