I'm afraid I didn't warm to any of the characters. In fact, I found them all quite irritating, including the little boy, which is not a good idea in a series such as this.

You don't have to agree with other posters, but, assuming you are an adult in chronological terms, to call someone with whom you disagree retarded is childish in the extreme, you doo-doo face.
shareIn the US, one out of every 68 children is diagnosed. I think this is a brilliant show personally. But it isn't for everyone and I'm sure OP isn't alone. Plus many people find autistic children annoying due to their repetitive behaviors and quirks. I find many neurotypical people annoying too, as does the OP does with this family. It doesn't bother me tha some people won't like it. There are plenty other things to watch and do
