Tench's son murder subplot is forced and lame.

Yes, I know it is based on an actual crime from 1971, but it clashes with the mood of the story and feels shoehorned in. I have the feeling that if they continue to ad stuff like that to 'spice things up' the show is going to deteriorate.

I didn't like it either. Also I couldn't care less for Dr. Carr's sexlife. I want the show to focus on their work, not the people. Like the Mission: Impossible series.

I think it was only valuable to focus on her sexual orientation insofar as it coming in useful in that one serial killer interview. But in general, I agree, I couldn't care less about her sex life, or even her life in general.

not the best storyline, but the music they used every time Tench came home created great tension. I kept excepting the kid to come out carrying a knife. also, I liked how it made Tench question their own theories on how killers have the tendencies and signs from a very young age. he didn't want to believe they applied to his son.
