Regarding the family. They are pretty damn dysfunctional.

The father is pretty fun to watch, especially since we know he's a supreme badass who 95% of the time keeps it in check. Lots of patience.

The mother is a pretty vanilla control freak/perfectionist. Well-acted, but 2-dimensional.

The oldest daughter, Judy, the "doctor" annoys the bleep out of me. She single-handedly ignored obvious group survival orders to save the dying man, screwing EVERYBODY on the planet...and she's unbelievably condescending and patronizing. I cannot stand that character.

Actually, the middle child, pig-tailed daughter acts spontaneously, but so far (I'm about to watch the season finale), has not acted catastrophically. And she means well most of the time.

And Will "I can make any situation worse" Robinson; should never make an important decision in his life because he doubles-down on making the wrong one.

But all that stated, my wife and I have mostly enjoyed the series, so that's a good thing.
