Goksung or Gokseong ?

This movie was named Gokseong and now its called Goksung.
This is down to translation or what ?
Anyone here who knows korean language ?

According to the Romanization of Korean 'Seong'
Sound is 'Sung'(sing-sung)
Officially it uses 'Seong' but both are currently used in Korea.

Korea / Roman
ㅅ / s
ㅓ / eo
ㅇ / ng

성 / seong

probably because americans are more familiar with the "sung" pronunciation rather than the similar "seong" pronunciation

The official guidleine suggests "seong" intead of "sung", both of which are the same (in audio-wise). Gok means "wailing for the dead." Seong means "sound." At the same time, the place in the film and the actual place is also called gokseong.
