The antique looking pictures in the Japanese guy's house?
Any ideas?
I'm wondering if he was a normal guy who had been possessed by a demon during his time at the village and those were pictures of his parents he had put up before that.
Maybe he was trying to escape something similar, or the same that happened in his home village, but brought it with him and he was possessed shortly after arrival?
