Highly Recommended for Those Starting Middle School...

Just prior to my eldest starting middle school, my family watched this movie. And the message here was spot on: Friendships and social dynamics change when kids reach this age. I am not a critic of certain elements of these types movies (cinematography, acting ability, chemistry, timing, etc.). So for delivering the given message, this movie was outstanding, as underrated as it is.
The delivery was fun and non-depressing. My eldest is now going into her final year of middle school and has experienced much of what the film exhibits. My youngest will start her first year this Fall, and has already experienced some of what the film shows, so it is time to revisit it.

The movie is seen from a girl's point of view but it can be beneficial for boys approaching this age as well.
