For an English language animated film, it is decent. Follows the Dianey formula, though, but without the music. The animation style was different in an interesting way, like Secret of Kells.
If you want to try a differnt style, check out the more grounded films by Studio Ghibli, such as When Marnie was There, or From up on Poppy Hill. I thought those films were amazing, and in terms of story telling, put most Disney films and many Pixar films to shame.
Most Japanese animation, starting with tv series, puts American kiddie fare to shame.
To be honest I love Myazaki but I prefer his older series to his latest movies, exactly because they smell a bit too Disney like.
