Van Helsing, a mentally challenged mother

I understand quite well that on such a situation, you'd like to rescue people.

Or that you would risk everything to keep a low profile and search your kid.

But it is quite clear, from the beguining, that you can't do both.

By the way, if your main strong point is your exeptional physical qualities and not so much shooting, you could carry a weapon that use it, like an axe, a machete.

Not only could it be handy, but it woul also help you NOT sending 'I'm here' message to all the blood suckers around.

Seems to be a theme with Vanessa. Even before the Vampocalypse, she is shown picking a fistfight in the hallway of her apartment building, in front of her kid. With the kid begging her to stop. Seriously, call the cops and let them deal with it and get your damn kid safely inside!

And given what a spectacularly *beep* shot she is I agree that she should not even be carrying a gun. All she does is waste what must be a very limited supply of bullets.

The only character that seems to make consistently reasoned decisions is Axel. And all the rest of them seem to be idiots plotting against him and towards their own destruction.

I'm really hoping they can expand some of the other characters. Right now they are not really that interesting.
