And why can't they hook up the UV lights to a truck or a dirigible and just drive through the streets like Google does, irradiating all the vamps?
Good creative idea to gear up a vehicle with UV lights. Though, Axel does have them to protect the Seattle General Hospital that they are bunkered in, it's a tough call to risk taking them down and expose the building's defense to an attack. Their communication is down and can't inform anyone of the UV's.
shareAnd wouldn't the truck and its lights be subject to indirect attack? In other words, couldn't the vamps use projectile weapons / firearms to disable the lights (and the truck)?
shareThe lights probably wouldn't last long under an attack of Vamps in the open. We saw how quickly the Ferals swarm, like wasps. Once the lights were disabled, you'd be trapped in a vehicle like a tin can.
