this show is based off the zenescope comic van helsing. but so far its nothing at all like it sept same name. first van helsing was the daughter of the original van helsing that was born in the 18th century. she then was thrown into a shadow world where time moved definitely an when she got out it was the present. she has no special abilities. she is a very skilled fighter an even more skilled inventor. she nake alot of her own wepons. oh ya an she dates hades yes the god of the underworld
