What happened to the serial killer? At the hospital, there was one person killing others one by one. He's obviously still with the group, and my bet is on John. If it's really him, then I wonder about the girl's judgment that she walking with him through the bunker.
shareI have always suspected the killer is Sam, simply because Christopher Heyerdahl is the most talented and successful actor in the cast and seems criminally wasted as a background character. My suspicions are now at an all-time high now that John has been killed off after becoming a suspect, particularly since it was Sam who was sent off to fetch John's stuff before they conveniently discovered the killer's souvenirs. John is a red herring. Sam is the killer.
shareI think Sam is the killer too, regrettably as I love his character. But what rose my suspicions was when he asked Flesh what it was like to be a vampire, and especially about his senses being enhanced. It seems to me he wants to be a vampire or like a vampire to overcome his deafness.

Heyerdahl is indeed great and an awesome actor. i fully expect that he will be the killer. plus he "reading lips" gig with the intruder group (now dead) seems overt that he intentionally told Axel & Co. misinfo and that intruder group in reality had no intention of killing Axel's group. it seems like Sam did that on purpose. i'm just irked and surprised that no one in Axel's group questioned Sam on his erroneous info.
sharei wonder if the writers will return to the "real" serial killer deal or if they just wanted to scrap it altogether and just had it be John (who's now dead of course) but i strongly suspect that the severed finger was planted on John to make him look like the serial killer.
