Badly affected seeing the skeletons of the babies. Whatever happened to the mothers??

so it WAS skeletons of babies all over the ground? i couldn't tell (either my eyes are not great or the copy of the ep i had was not HD). i thought it might have been infant skeletons. thanx for the clarification, rugles2! that's pretty disturbing/haunting. all those innocents.

The mothers may have been passed on, but it was the infant blood Magdalena was feeding on, hence the remains.

Yes, they were a real lot of baby skeletons which was very creepy and sad.
