15 minutes into first episode, already seems stupid
Why does soldier man react to other soldier man asking about Doc like that? "You'll see" *smilegiggles* ? What is wrong with you? And then he doesn't warn anyone that he has a vampire locked in there. Could've gotten someone bitten.
Why won't soldier man just let the husband go outside? Takes like five seconds to open the door, push him out and close it again. Instead he's opting to blatantly nurture hostility in the husband, who went on to display he's ready to get violent over it. Seems safe to keep that guy around. This boneheaded management by soldier man is probably what eventually leads to the vampires getting in.
Why does soldier man talk about Doc going down to make sure the door closed behind them, as if it wasn't necessary? The door only closes from the inside, we're explicitly shown this. You have to close the door behind people, or it's *beep* open, and vampires will just stroll right in, Mr. soldier man who's so concerned about safety.
It's offensively stupid. Soldier man is an *beep* idiot and I hope he dies. But he won't, cause he's being set up as a lead. Maybe in the finale? That prospect almost makes me want to stick with it.
