is it just me or is the season finale acting so poorly done?

They look like they are trying to fight slowly on purpose. And Vanessa's scratch to the stomach from Rebeccas does not properly show on the robe. Like the costume department jsut decided to use a red pencil on there and that should convince audiences that Vanessa was scratch there hard enough that she reeled back in pain. Even the sound effect sounded like she was disemboweled. But I guess i must just be imagining things.

Also, i can't believe that Dmitri and Dr. whatever his name is was convinced by Vanessa's acting that she's on board on their plans after just giving her a bowl of blood? Like just stand there and have their guard down with restraining her. Whaaaaaaat? Did i miss a few scenes where she actually tries to convince them that shes onboard on their sinister plans at all?

The series is good, but the season finale was like done lazily and i can't believe people are just dismissing it like suspension of disbelief or something.
