Miscast
The black woman cia director doesnt belong. Very odd choice??
shareAlmost ever character was miscast, in my opinion. The biggest problem I had with this series was the acting. I really wanted to like this show and, to be fair, some episodes were very good, but in general the actors weren't right. Especially the main guy who plays Daniel Miller I felt was totally bland. Richard Jenkins is always a favorite of mine and I liked him, but he never quite felt genuine to me in this role. I just didn't see him as a top ranking CIA man.
shareWhat about flip flopping Kirsch and Frost? That would be more consistent with their typecasting.

True
They say he learned German "the propper way" by growing up in Germany - yet he says hardly has any german words, and those with a very heavy accent.
Pick an actor who actually can speak german, or change the script, but this doesn't work.
I think she is the American answer to the black woman on MI6.
I thought she was fine though.
Deputy Director, not Director.
Why odd? Do you think that a Black woman isn't capable? Isn't experienced?

You're talking about April Grace who played Deputy Director Jemma Moore, right?
I thought she did just fine. She's got the right bureaucratic authority presence for that role. Kinda sexy, too. I always remember her as the reporter than interviews Tom Cruise in "Magnolia" and exposes him.
