He is a professional writer and provides a thoughtful analysis of every show he reviews, and I agree with him most of the time, but here is where we part ways - he thinks the bard is a worthless character that detracts from the show and I think he adds comical value.

On this one I agree with the Drinker, for me the "bard", specially in the first season, was only a nuisance, the comical value was pretty much zero ...
