It does make you wonder who the target audience is. No macho-male or Human males just a bunch of human women.

It's just weird, previous Star Trek shows portrayed women as captains and security officers etc. as equals without having to eradicate or emasculate men, this show however seems to be different with its obvious casting choices regarding gender and race. I just want good science fiction, which Star Trek Discovery sometimes delivers but not with its third wave feminist agenda.

It's interesting. But perhaps it's also a reflection of the current reality? With the #metoo and #blacklivesmatter movements - the anti-white male vibe is growing in the land of the freedom.
On one hand, I'm thinking, maybe it's a good thing? Have you noticed how there are so few female mass shooters? There is a high probability that if females were to govern the world (not Hillary), the world could be much less violent. At the same time, pursuing women in this environment could be a quick path to jail - and I wonder when flirting will be outlawed.
That's why it's currently better to live in Asia/South America - you are not being treated like a predator just because of your gender alone.
