Will it be distributed in the US?

I keep expecting it and it has never played at the local arthouses (I live in one of the 10 largest cities in the US, so logically if it's going to play in the US, it'll play here).

Or show up VOD, Netflix, Amazon, etc.?

According to IMDb, it's goes on limited release in the States from next weekend (the 23rd). I imagine it will be a very limited release.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out. I love Loach films.

Will be distributed by Sundance Selects.

Ah; thanks for that. As a result, I was able to dig out this old news item:
http://variety.com/2016/film/awards/cannes-palme-dor-winner-i-daniel-blake-gets-oscar-season-release-1201847030/#
"Sundance Selects has set Ken Loach’s Palme d’Or winner “I, Daniel Blake” for a Dec. 23 limited release with a multi-city expansion to follow,"

I had suspected that the limited release over Christmas might be in order to make the Oscar deadline, and this appears to confirm it. (I remember American Sniper doing the same thing at the tail-end of 2014...)

I have no idea. The film's official facebook and twitter accounts appear to be abandoned at this point and I emailed IFC Films for legal rental and streaming information a week ago and as of this post, they have not responded.

A quick internet search turned up nothing and I found a link,
https://gowatchit.com/microsite/4666?gwi_origin=tracking_link&gwi_origin_context=microsite#upcoming_theaters-11907, from IFC's page to it playing in theaters and there are 3 in the entire country, 2 in New York City and one in LA. Seems it isn't the priority to get this out to the masses, only for the awards audience. After a quick browse of the 3 listed theaters there, it appears none of them are still showing the movie.

This is why I hate it when I am interested in seeing an independent film and it doesn't play anywhere near me. The VOD options are never announced till well after the buzz for the film dies down. I often forget about the film by then.

I just checked our local arthouses - they aren't playing it this weekend either despite all the BAFTA noms it got. Guess I'll have to wait for VOD.
