anyone read the book?
?
shareYes, and it was so forgettable I honestly can't remember if I finished it.
shareYes, it's an old Paul Gallico book. The original one was actually called "Flowers for Mrs Harris" and then the sequel was Mrs Harris goes to Paris (if I recall correctly). They were very nice books.
shareMy wife read it. She loved the book and is looking forward to seeing the movie. Since we are both costumers (as I'm sure you can guess from my screen name) we expect to enjoy this.

The Council on Jerusalem (coming 2023)
Apparently the film has been made twice before, in 1992 (Angela Lansbury) and 1958 (Patricia Cutts).
Never saw those, but this was quite all right. Excellent job by all the actors and a story full of surprises.
Not sure why Rose Williams looked so much larger than in Sanditon. Is she having or did she recently have a kid perhaps?
