PS Listening to the soundtrack right now.

It was phenomenal really and yep that soundtrack was fantastic and that version of Pink Floyd's Mother was stunning.

Edited in after reply below: On reflection I started thinking that while the performance of Mother was stunning, the song was a bit ill-fitting to the narrative as David needed and wanted that from his Mother to shake his shackles. Or more so the last line of "did it need to be so high," as yes that Wall did need to be so high for the outcomes to play out as they did. However of course that sets up a different David in the new timeline, so to that new David not knowing anything of what went before may find that Wall to be too high.

Which brings me to what I loved about the show, how thinking on it changes perceptions of the narrative almost continually ... and that will be sorely missed.

If you liked this show, go check out a show called The OA on Netflix. It’s mind-blowing. I loved Legion! I think it’s my second favorite right after The OA.

Although Legion was more psychological, The OA is more dimensional of parallel worlds. Maybe you’ll like it or you won’t, but it’s a mind-bending series too! Keep an open mind if you want to take on some weirdness... πŸ™

Thanks. I will check it out. And my mind is VERY open to some weirdness. That's why I liked Legion so much.

Then you’re going to love this one! Season 1 might be a bit slow but stay with it cause Season 2 is going to take you for a ride and get weirder. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Roger that.

Season 1 of the OA was great - I would suggest not to watch season 2
- it can't compare to season 1 - and (spoilers:) season 2 ends on a cliffhanger, that will never be resolved...
because Netflix canceled the show!

Season 1 is great as a standalone and has an ambitious ending.

At least Legion came full circle - although we never found out, how the world ended and why it was Davids fault.

In my opinion, Season 2 is way better than Season 1. Yeah, Season 1 can go for a stand alone but season 2 is what really goes beyond everything where it gets weird and creative. It’s still worth the watch! It’s good to get more viewers and people in the show so that Netflix will change their mind and renew it. The OA was rated number one as the most underrated show recently and now people are hearing about it and watching. Fans are going to the extreme of bringing it back. Every season is going to be a different theme so none of the seasons are going to compare similar to each other. Some people didn’t like Season 2 because it was too weird for them or they didn’t understand it. But after watching Legion, I think that one is more challenging to keep up with then The OA. Both are great shows though and they really open your mind...

Second that the OA is a wonderful show and the good news is that Marvel/Disney are open to more like Legion and they seem to be going to use FX for that, which given the Disney + and Hulu combination is a good thing

Marvel TV Boss Jeph Loeb On Secret ABC Series, Disney+, β€˜Legion’ End, More Crossovers, β€˜Ghost Rider’ & Hulu Plans.

August 12, 2019

Loeb: It’s a remarkable show created and visualized by an extraordinary filmmaker. Noah carried this from the start β€” told us how he wanted the show to begin and how he wanted it to end β€” and we’ve respected that. Having FX as our partner made it very exciting as well from both a creative and marketing stand point.

As to the future, that world and those characters will always be there. It’s our hope that Noah will want to return to them in any capacity he thinks is worth telling. FX remains a huge priority for us because we can tell those unexpected stories there and John Landgraf is something of a visionary himself. They β€œget” us and we β€œget” them. We like all of that.

Plus that means there may be a chance Noah will get to do his Doctor Doom film even though Disney wiped the slate of all FOX Marvel productions when they merged.
