Not surprised by the reviews as the trailers screamed "garbage". But is anyone surprised given it's a Sony Pictures movie and they hired a director who has never made a great film? Daniel Espinosa? It's like they wanted a bad film.

Not bad necessarily but more that Sony wanted to make it on the cheap. And Ruben Fleischer was too busy making Uncharted.

Think it's more about the screenwriters - just look at what they've made.
