After watching the first Ant-Man, I thought a person can only shrink (or increase) in size only if he's fully suited. I know this is a CBM but some common sense and logic should be expected. This way everything that's in the suit is somewhat "shielded" by it. For instance if one's wearing a suit but one of the gloves is missing shrinking down would mean that person would lose his hand. Not painting a nice picture here I know, but since there's no serum being injected into the bloodstream and it's all up to the suit I think the suit should be at 100%. Which is why some of the scenes in AM2 didn't make much sense, for instance that thing in school when AntMan kept changing his size back and forth without wearing the helmet. Can someone explain this to me?

Good catch there...

I like Paul Rudd in these movies, but, yeah, as far as the pseudo-science goes, it is really stretched to the limit in this movie.

For me it was the shrinking building which gets tossed around a lot, yet nothing inside it ever gets thrown around or damage. How does the plumbing work? Sure, you can use batteries or some such for power, but unless you have internal holding tanks -- which would have to be emptied at intervals raising questions about building permits, etc -- there would have to be plumbing to the outside world. Plumbing that would be severely damaged by a building that can change size dramatically.

When Pym shrank the building he it suddenly had wheels on the bottom and a handle to pull it like carry on luggage. Cute but ridiculous. How would you explain a giant handle to pull out of the top of the building when you are making it? And the wheels in the bottom of the building too? Just in case I need to shrink it...

I don't think that it is ever been established in the movies or in the comics that someone must be encased in the suit before they can shrink or grow. Hank has definitely never told Scott this in the movies, and that would be a very important piece of information to give!

Its the reality of the movie. The Pym particle is fictional. FTFY.
