Better than the first film

Better story, better characters, better villains. Fewer ants, more Anti-Man and it's great to see the Wasp in action. The de-ageing of Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer was eerie.

It's amazing that the Marvel Cinematic Universe can continue to pump out hit after hit.

Stay for the first post credits scene - it's a killer. Then leave. The second post credits scene is an ant playing the drums.

That's the second time the MCU has pissed on people who've stayed til the bitter end after that bullshit Captain American thing in Spider-man Homecoming.

I dunno, did we really need to see the Grandmaster one last time? I'd say it's the third unnecessary and unfunny final stinger

I disagree about it being better - it lacked the freshness of the original and seemed "safer" somehow. The only real surprise was the absence of any "evil" villains (vs. people with understandable agendas).

Thanks for the synopsis! I'm going to see it tonight and I'm looking forward to it.

I loved it. I was surprised by how good it was.

I think I liked the first one a little more still. Really loved how they made a climactic final battle on a toy train set and the heist was really cool too. But this was funny and enjoyable in it's own way. Love how Wasp got in on the action a little more in this one

Have a short review of this movie if anyone is interested- https://youtu.be/hjGwk7t7bU8

I liked the film, but significantly prefer the first one. As for the Homecoming post-credits-- the Captain America scene is among the most clever of all the Marvel post-credit scenes, and one I love. The ant playing the drums, not so great actually, though the moment before, showing the aftermath of Thanos' snap, was spooky enough to make it worth staying.

Young Michelle Pfeiffer in the flashback scene looked more realistic than the modern day Michelle wearing movie makeup.

That was shocking! Plus the camera was so close to her face, I don't know how they managed to make her look so flawless, but that was the most impressive visual effect I've seen in a long time.
