If it makes you feel any better, I've got bets that Captain Marvel will be the first flop of the MCU. I just don't see a welling of interest in that character. That could change though with the master Feige in charge.

I would normally agree with that....but I thought the same thing when there was a movie with a talking tree and raccoon. And again when it was about Ant-Man.

When I heard about Ant-Man, I was #1 not enthused at all, thought it was a stupid idea and Marvel just dragging the bottom of the Marvel barrel for movies.
And then I saw the first trailer......mind changed instantly.
On the back of that trailer, took my son to go see it, dont regret it at all, and i'm happy to go see the sequel as well.
