Who killed Del? I thought it was that Snell, but Jonah and all them keep saying he shot him. I am confused?

Darlene Snell killed Del after he called the Snell’s rednecks. Was one of the more surprising deaths in the show and set the tone for future and often stupid Darlene antics.
