Darlene is fucking dead, i legit cheered when Javi killed that bitch. It was getting beyond tiring watching this elderly woman blowing everyone away with her magical shotgun and never suffering any blowback.

No idea why it even took Javi as long as it did, she was no use to them alive, she was a problem, he killed the sheriff, i don't get why he waited so long to take care of Darlene when she was clearly always on his mind to be dealt with.

It was old seeing her still alive in season 3, it made no sense to me she was able to live as long as she did doing the shit she did. She had no army, no backup, it was just her and she was able to kill Del a Cartel boss, constantly went against the Cartel, blew a mob boss's sons dick off, killed a mob boss, its just ridiculous she got away with everything she did for so long.

No idea why the writers was so intent on keeping her around so long making her this invincible force with a shotgun killing cartel bosses, mob bosses, just fucking ridiculous.

Yeah a bit annoying how the evil old bat seemed immune to any comeback.

Even in the first episode of season 4, Marty told her with good reason that if she kept selling, the reprisals would be swift and brutal, but nothing more happened until her product inadvertently got to the drug company.

Only regrettable thing is that I think many of us wanted the old witch's death to be a little more unpleasant.

Aye. Turning Darlene into a master villain was ridiculous. It would have been far more convincing had Jacob killed her, not the other way around.

Yeah but shes a woman, so they had to show us the woman was superior than the weak man. Cause most of the men in this show outside of the cartel have no balls and are presented as weak and inferior to the stronger women in their life.

Wendy's tougher than Marty, Ruth was tougher and smarter than her uncles, Darlene was smarter and tougher than her husband, see what i mean?

The show became incredibly GO WOMEN RAH RAH in its last two seasons, to a ridiculous degree. I don't remember Jason Bateman's character being such a pussy early on, but he really let the women roll over him in the last season, especially Ruth who he should have easily told to f-off countless times but instead acted like a dog with his tail tucked between his legs whenever she so much as raised her voice at him. Absolutely laughable. I was amazed they killed her off in the finale, but of course it had to be by another "strong woman."

The sister of the Mexican cartel kingpin being behind everything was so predictable from the start, too. The moment she entered the story I knew they were going to build her up to something, because, of course, again, you can't have no strong men in charge in this universe, at least not for long or without a "strong woman" really pulling the strings behind the scenes. Whatever.

Yep, just like Darlene killed Jacob cause she was "Stronger", Ruth killed her uncles cause she was "Stronger", just like Wendy took control and gained power cause she was "Stronger" than Marty, and yeah i forgot to mention Omar's sister took him out cause she was of course "Stronger". And yeah Ruth was finally killed but as you said of course by another "Stronger" woman.

All the men in this show had to be shown as weaker than the women in their life.
