Ben (spoiler)

One minute you hated the guy for being so dense because of his bi-polar, then you felt so sad for him....Finally, there he stands like a puppy left by the side of the road, and you know life is over for him.

I would have felt worse for him if he wasn't doing & saying the exact worst possible things & the worst possible times, basically holding up a sign that says kill me. Same thing with the comically obtuse old psychiatrist lady. Her case is even worse as she doesn't have the excuse of being mentally ill. Just unbelievably dumb.

I get what you mean, but deal with a bi-polar person like them and you see how it is. One moment insane acting, then them realizing it, then right back to insanity.

It reminded me of a woman in my life who was bi-polar, but has now passed on....Anyway, was just sad to see him left there alone.

Yea, the consular was an idiot. An older female version of Pryce in "Better Call Saul"

Made me think of Lenny in "Of Mice and Men." How hard is it to get more meds? His situation felt very contrived, just so we can get to that final sad scene.

reply

He stopped taking his meds because he couldn't get a boner with Ruth.
