Socialism isn't the enemy, corruption is. Just as how fragile it is to keep a democracy which is slowly eroding within the US. There are many reasons why Venezuela failed in the way that it did. But it certainly wasn't because Venezuelans got free health care. An over-reliance on oil exports in the years before oil prices plummeted in 2016 was a partial cause of the crisis. Intervention by the United States is another important part of it. Most crucially, it was a government rife with corruption that shattered Venezuela. Hell, even capitalism can be corrupt and is. Rich get richer and the poor get poorer while the wages have been stagnant for decades.
Why I love the elites. They can easily get the poorly educated mob aka the people to think on their terms to get what they want with the talking points you want to hear and get you to attack your own poor folks. Why they're always rich and you're dirt shit poor for the most part. Some are just contempt with their mediocre life so they don't really care. Ah, such is life. I'm just glad there is so many people to control and fool so easily to keep themselves in power and live the life in luxury. You can keep arguing what's wrong or whatnot all you want, won't make a difference in their eyes
