yeah, at the end of that first season, I was wondering the same thing

Felt absolutely gratuitous because there was zero pay off as far as his character development and as a plot-point.
Not to mention - who doesn’t realise that the names ‘Stanley Kowalski’ and ‘Blanche Dubois’ are famous fictional characters?
Made me really think Victor was an absolute peanut.
He experienced the curse of his kills and it weighed down on him so that he could not put it down until did penitence later on with the egg sale.
