Great first half. Boring and messy 2nd half
Ending sucked too.

Overlong, overwrought, overblown and the acting is very uneven. All atmosphere and nothing more.

I was mesmerized the whole movie, Eggers is really growing on me!
shareI agree it could have had a bit more of a tighter pace. Still nowhere near as dragging as Bladerunner 2049 was... it's like the director/editor PURPOSELY wanted every frame to be half a minute longer than it should be, like the Game of Thrones finale episode of so much unnecessary walking... this film didn't have any of that as all the walking segments especially slow dream walk like states worked well however yeah parts could have been edited down.
