are you glad this bombed?
yes - i hate remakes in general.
shareYes, I'm glad when movies made for toxic involuntarily celibate femcels bomb. This movie and Dark Fate bombing could be the beginning of the end for the Hollyweird Woke-ocalypse.
sharesomewhat agree
shareI'm not happy it bombed, but I'm not surprised at all. We had a remake and it was clever enough to be its own thing, and had a good cast. We saw that back in the day and was like 'oh they took a 70s TV show and made it modern.'
Now how are we meant to process this? It's not clever. It's not a remake. It's a remake of a remake with a less appealing cast.
They really missed the ball on this one.
Yep at least the Drew Barrymore one was fun.
shareIt was. It actually really captures that early 2000s feel, that was different to the 90s or what happened afterwards. Plus extreme sports was a big thing in the early 2000s and the first remakes are full of action scenes that people liked back then. So guys and girls liked the movie.
shareI liked all her CA films, she is also a true 80's child so you get lots of heartfelt nostalgia as well. The women were also great looking, I know that is subjective but I always thought Drew was cute. And they looked passable as female action types.
These 3 are not attractive nor do they look physically strong with their swizzle stick bodies.

I didn't even know they were making it until it appeared on this forum and by that point it was already in cinemas. Yeah I am happy it bombed, sick of reboots, sick of SJW propaganda. Happy the Terminator film tanked as well.
I also don't think there was any need or want for this film/concept and to cast 3 very unlikely actresses in the roles secured their fate.
I don't mind a remake but this is a second remake. There have been three incarnations of Spiderman in the last 12 years. It gets ridiculous after a while.
shareThe TV show and Lucy Liu movies are better.
This woke trash was unnecessary.
