Zero publicity. That’s what ruined this film.
Never knew it existed until i saw it on the main page here.

shareNot sure it's fair comment on a movie I'd have no intention of going to but I think you're right. Popped up in a Twitter feed and saw a few pictures in Cinemas but don't remember seeing any trailers anywhere.
Which is a stark contrast that with all the trailers I saw for Terminator and other films, often months in advance.
Yeah exactly Terminator was all over.
shareI've seen it plenty. Facebook and twitter ads, football games. Not so much on regular tv. Certainly not plastered all over cities. This movie generated zero buzz, is what I think killed it. Nobody cared. The world didn't want or need a Charlie's Angels movie right now even if it was a good one. MAYBE a third entry with the original cast would have done well. Especially if it had the "last time we're getting this gang together" marketing run.
shareAh i don’t have facebook or use twitter so that makes sense, they ploughed the money into those platforms i guess. Yeah a long awaited threequel.
shareThere was a really annoying pop up thing that always scrolled through your feed when you were scrolling through. Little vid clips that highlighted each of the girls and what not.
shareIt certainly didn’t help.
I didn’t realize it existed until Bawlbaby Banks was making an ass out of herself about it flopping.
Maybe the lack of promotion was because they knew it sucked. It’s not like there’s good word of mouth about this movie.
shareI saw plenty of ads for this the cast was wrong, and they aimed for the wrong age demographic.
shareSemi-zero star power is what killed it. They needed to have at least two major stars. Shailene Woodley would have been a better choice for second billing.
shareI blame Trump for that.
