(Spoiler) Seeing that the next episode is named "guilty as *beep* I already know the vibe of next week's episode. Feel bad for Lawrence, he's actually doing the right thing and resisting the woman from the bank that's all over him , Meanwhile Ms. Issa is out there just asking for it. Not sure why she feels it was a good idea to hang with her ex whereas I'm sure she would've been pissed off if He continued to hang with the girl from the bank. SMH
Nope. No excuse for that behavior at all. Still rooting for her though. She needs to be honest with him so he isn't cheated out of an opportunity with Tasha. Maybe they will find their way back to each other down the road, but they need a break.
I agree. I love Issa, but I was so disappointed in her for sleeping with Daniel. Here is my question has Issa supported Lawrence emotionally while he is going through this rough patch? I am rooting for them though.
I don't know bout Tasha- she seems cool but a little thirsty. Something tells me if she were actually in a relationship she might change her tune a bit. I love Lawrence so much! Hopefully Issa will get her act together and they can mend things between them.
You do have a point there. People do tend to put their best foot forward. Tasha very well may just be acting as if she'd be the backbone and support Lawrence is looking for. That is a possibility. I'm just saying I don't think Issa is the girl for him.
I must commend you folk on this thread. Ordinarily with women I see in threads and having discussions, they would find some way to justify a woman's infidelities by somehow saying it was caused by the guy. I was honestly expected at least one person to point out Lawrence's fault and try to justify Issa's actions.
Nope not me -I find Issa's character really getting on my nerves at this point. She is a horrible girlfriend, a horrible friend and a horrible employee. She is super selfish and plays the victim constantly when she's the one f'ing up constantly. I feel really bad for Lawrence who's trying so hard to be a better man and who is doing all the right things. I hope he dumps her *ss in the worst way.
As for Molly, sigh. She needs to have more respect for herself and stop looking for the superficial only in a mate. She also needs to be more authentic, if she played less games she'd see real quick if the guy is a troll or not .
The only character that doesn't have me rolling my eyes hard at this point is the Rent a car guy, here is a dude who knows who he is, isn't trying to front, has an honest job and is of good character. Hope he stays that way and that if Molly continues in her stupid ways that he drops her real quick like too, he don't need that kind of drama.
I'm disappointed about the tone this series is taking, I was hoping for something fun & quirky but this is getting real dark & seedy real quick like and just another drama about professional black women who can't get their *beep* together and/or can't find a man...there are enough of shows/movies/characters like that out there...I'm also getting tired of all the white bashing going on in this show. A little can be funny if well done but they've been taking it too far.
yeah, I downgraded my mark from a 7 to a 4. Am giving it a couple more episodes to see if it turns a corner otherwise one more show to add to the fall 2016 rejects list...what a pitty the show had a lot of promise...
Best synopsis of the whole show so far. I was excited when Issa got the green light, but I think because Atlanta got out of the gate first and raised the bar for TV. Insecure has lost it luster.
I mean, I am not defending it, I was really disappointed in the last episode (another one like that and I am done), but this show doesn't have enough substance to turn dark.
