I tried posting this once before but the site was acting dumb...
But I feel like there were a few seeds planted to make Tasha believe she could have him. In their 1st encounter at the bank it just seems like a cute, repeat customer in which they have small interactions together. If you notice, he even waited on her just so she could be the one to service him. Now that doesn't have to generally mean something....he could've been embarrassed about the checks or wanted to give her a quick little update. Whatever the reason, they have some sort of relationship. I feel like he already mentioned Issa when they were at the bank.
The next time when they see each other during lunch he most definitely mentions he has a girlfriend but he also kinda vents about her not believing in his dream of launching the app. So now Tasha knows there's trouble in paradise and she could make her move if she wanted to.
Then she comes in to Best Buy with her hoe outfit and tries to invite him out in which he very respectfully declines. Now...short from that being embarrassing and the pain of rejection. There's a light at the end of the tunnel. That just shows Tasha he's a great stand up guy. He was respectful of his relationship despite having problems and with his gf nowhere in sight. Going out to eat after work seems harmless enough but he hit the "No" button. That should make her want him even more. Single, handsome (although he's not all that cute to me), no kids, ambitious, tall (I couldn't resist), and loyal AF....you've just hit the Boyfriend/Husband jackpot in her eyes.
All she had to do was seal the deal and spread her legs and can eventually keep him...
It's crazy but I know a lot of women think like that.
