Does anyone think this show is majorly creepy?

I'll grant I was mystified by this show and watched the free streaming episodes. But it is really creepy. Why do we need creepy stuff like this to waste time on. Is wasting the time of the public the actual goal of our media? That is, to keep everyone in a mindless idiot state with junk like this so that we continue to slide in educational level relative to the rest of the world, and create people dumb enough to vote for people like you-know-who?

Trust me, you're superior to none. You're connecting dots that aren't even there. The only questionable education seems to be yours. The rest of us learned to connect the dots in preschool. Let me guess, while the other kids created proper pictures from those dots, you produced an nonsensical mess of intersecting lines. It's clear your ability hasn't improved.

Maybe next you'd like to tell us there's a correlation between TV shows and the tides....

Why not? If the story is good, the only difference between a comic and a novel is that the pictures take the place of a novel's descriptive words. You only need to read the dialog, your eyes get the rest of the needed information from the illustrations.
Comics are like a half way point between a novel and a movie/TV show.

Actually they're now referred to as "graphic novels".

They're called that because when they were first made, they were considered a long form of the comic strips from newspapers (which weren't always funny: Flash Gordon, Tarzan, the Phantom, etc)

Same reason adults read novels, watch anime or films, listen to music, play sports they enjoyed as a kid, etc.
