Thoughts on episode 2 of season 2?

I loved it, but then I'm easily pleased.

Fiore certainly stood front and centre stage on this one (Even though some might have said he corpsed his performance towards the end).

Just enough comedy, action and hints towards the larger story being presented marvellously by the production team.

I can't wait until next week.

it was great, this season has been amazing so far. the comedy is just right and the story is moving along nicely.

I really enjoyed it as well.

A question about Fiore. Did he make that decision, because Jesse told him to find peace (or whatever it was), or was it something he would've eventually figured out, but the opportunity presented itself now? In any case, the angels were among my favourite characters, sad to see them both, you know...

I think leaving it ambiguous appeals more to those who'd understand the condition and yet haven't gotten around to solving it.

Smart and dangerous, but ultimately we all consider it once in a while which, to my mind, makes it resonate a little better.

My take is that Fiore was trapped in his own version of Hell, reliving every day just as The Saint of Killers does, with the reincarnation act.

He no longer has his companion. His only purpose is to stop Jesse using Genesis,he realises that Jesse cannot ever be trusted not to use the Genesis so he takes the opportunity to allow his own death and to carry on the end of Genesis project which he started.
He finds peace but I think he would have always done what he did.

I really enjoyed the episode, was sad to see Fiore go but loved his 2.45 hours with Cassidy! It reminded me of Urban myths where Cary Grant takes LSD with Timothy Leary (and also Dogma and The Prestige!)

To my delight my Amazon Prime account has shown me episode 3 already.Possibly the best ep so far for me.

Episode 3 was awesome, old arseface is back and Herr Starr is shown for the first time.

It's hugging along very nicely!

Those 2 hours and 45 minutes seemed to have a lot of content in them, that's a wild ride 🙂
