The 1953 Dunkirk movie was better
I liked the character development in that movie more. Because of the character development I felt more involved and wanted them off the beach.
The only character I cared for this movie was Hardy's character, but
for probably one of their better pilots he decided to land on the bit of the beach with German soldiers. At least he burned his plane.
I would've liked to see more of the frontline fighting as well as with the French. At least do something more, something different from the other war movies on Dunkirk. I found hte documentaries more interesting.
