Chris Nolan can't make a war film.
Disjointed, shittily-paced mess of a pussy-ass PG-13 war film. Nolan is a hack, posing as pretentious. He shouldn't have put his wimpy ass anywhere near a war film, he doesn't have the grit or depth to make a mark. Doesn't crack my top 10 in the genre. Using the word 'characters' would be too much of a stretch, cardboard cutouts could have sufficed as stand-ins for these meaningless empty roles. That U-boat torpedo had more of an arc than any one of them. Meandering, empty nothing of a story that dragged its ass without inspiration. In short, fuck this movie.
