What a waste of Steven Lang
Steven Lang, the great villain of Avatar films, reduced to a near invalid weakling father. The director missed an opportunity to make a more fun and believable movie by just confining the father to one room in the cabin.
Why is the cabin so impregnable? It seems in every scene, they closing windows an open window and re-locking doors and opening new ones.
This would have been a great opportunity for the father to showcase more old ways of killing by devising more interesting Home Alone style traps and gory killings. Instead we only get really lame BBQ skewer scene before he goes back upstairs to cower.
