I remember the game being really fun, but it wasn't anything with a really strong story or anything like that.

I can see this working on paper as a variation GOTG but with a western vibe instead of the space opera aesthetic James Gunn went for. Whether it'd be good or not is another story.

Thats probly a bonus , the game just provides the setting , they can put a story in afterwards and not be hampered by some weak story that was in the game.

GIVES THEM SOME LEEWAY TO BE ORIGINAL.
