He's super funny on the Gilmore Guys podcast, so I would have watched the show even if it was terrible. Thankfully, it was wonderful and completely up my alley. It's so awesome that he happens to have written for one of my favorite new shows!
Anyone else come to The Good Place via Demi from Gilmore Guys?
I listen to Gilmore Guys, and I hadn't started watching when Demi mentioned writing episode 10. So, that just gave me another reason to watch The Good Place.

I'm super pissed that Kevin didn't wstch any of the series even Demi's episode. It's a half hour tv show. They record pod casts long than than the entire run of the series (before his episode aired)

shareI love Gilmore Guys so much but it took me until yesterday to start watching The Good Place. (Just finished it) I remember seeing some promos for it before it started airing and thought it looked really interesting but I mostly forgot about it until Demi started mentioning it. When I saw I could watch the whole season on demand I figured I should just watch it and I'm glad I did!
In the first few episodes when we were getting to know Chidi he reminded me of Demi in a lot of ways. I also really want Kevin to see the show, not only because it's great and I think he would like it, but they made a reference to "dropping the the" (regarding Facebook/Mark Zuckerberg) and I want him to see it?
I started watching because Kristen Bell is perfect in everything ?

I looked up Demi Adejuyigbe and would not recognize him as an actor or any of his credited work as part of the production crew, so this strikes me of a strange topic, especially considering he only co-wrote episode 10 out of a 13 episode series.
To answer your question: No, I started watching The Good Place because of Kristen Bell and the advertisements last summer.
He was a staff writer so there is a chance he got jokes in other episodes but didn't script the entire episode. The question was because he is sort of famous for a pod cadt he cohosts called gilmore guys
