So this is a new thing? Make shows out of old action movies?
Lethal Weapon, Limitless & now this?
Are they that out of ideas?

I wouldn't exactly describe Limitless as an action movie but yeah you are right. These shows could work much better if they were on different networks and weren't locked in with the 22-24 episode per season model.

They don't NEED to be on the same network what's that going to do. LW has 18 episodes this season and I really like that show. Never saw limitless but I've heard go good things but it got the axe. Not so sure bout TD and it's not getting good reviews so far.
shareNo, I was suggesting that the shows would probably work better if they weren't on the same networks they currently are on - Network TV.

But they're not, well, LW is on Fox, but yea, Mcgyver, TD, Limitless are/were. I think TD should've been on TNT or FX (if they wanted more viewers on basic channel but still kept that violence and content that it's based off a R rated film.
shareI agree with that, CBS has made it like any other police procedural out there. Lacks all the grit of the original film.

Yea not only that, nevermind why they even it but why is it called Training Day? This either should've been Training DAYS or another title. I just finished watching it, don't feel like it's based off it at all. At least felt like a continuation to the movie this feels like nothing more than a reboot or just riding off the title. And Antoine Fuqua pitched this too?
