David Milch is interviewed in the new issue of the New Yorker. It is a very powerful interview and quite sad, too.
shareyeah, I read it two days ago. When you consider the formulation in his responses, it's astonishing. He was on such a high level to begin with that he remains elite despite the disease.
shareand I was floored when I read how he would scramble and rewrite so much on the fly. When you listen to the dialogue, you'd guess that it had been a long, painstaking process to craft.
